Telehealth can help empower you to take control and play a more active role in your own physical health. It's also a great option for people who may experience barriers to accessing physiotherapy in person.
Why Home Visits?
Similarly to telehealth, you get the benefits of not having to arrange transport, childcare, and it simply just makes it easier for you! If your child is accessing physiotherapy care, sometimes it's nice to show you exercises/ play techniques at home with their own toys. You may feel more comfortable talking about your health at home in a relaxed environment. There can be many benefits!
What's the best way to get into my online appointment?
We use a secure video call and clinic software called "Jane." Jane works best on google chrome unless you're using an iPhone or iPad in which case it works best with the Jane app. You'll get an email 30 minutes before your appointment with a video call link. Click the link and wait for your practitioner to let you in!
How does the booking work in different time zones?
Shine Therapy Services is set up for booking in pacific standard time which is the time you will see on your appointment reminder emails. If you're in another time zone you will have to adjust for your local time.
Do I need a referral from my doctor to get an appointment?
You don't need a referral to book an appointment at Shine Therapy Services.
Do you direct bill to insurance companies?
Yes! We can direct bill to most major insurance companies.
