Funding and Insurance

Extended Health Benefits

We are able to bill directly to most extended health benefit plans, however there are some exceptions. Please check with your benefits provider to see if they accept direct billing from physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists or counsellors depending on what service you are accessing. Currently most extended benefits plans do not accept direct billing from counsellors, SLPs or OTs but will accept direct billing for physiotherapy sessions. You may have to submit the receipt yourself in this instance.

Autism Funding

Catherine and Emily are registered autism service providers with the province of BC and can complete justification for equipment forms. If your child has autism funding, you can add Catherine, Emily, Janice or Amanda as a provider. Janice is not on the RASP (yet) but we are working on this asap!

Are you trying to add a new practitioner or increase the funding amount? You need to do an amendment form which can be found on your "my family services" portal or through the autism funding forms website.

If you're a new client, you have to have the "Request to Pay Service Provider" form completed and processed before commencing therapy services. This can be done on your "my family services" portal or by filling out the form and emailing it to them.

At Home Program

If your child is in BC and has a disability, you are likely eligible for funding from the At Home Program. Catherine, Janice and Emily can bill for sessions through this funding scheme.

You can do your initial assessment with any of our therapists but will have to wait one month for follow up appointments to allow for processing of our request to bill the at home program.
