Are you a therapist interested in pediatrics?
We are seeking a new grad or experienced pediatric Occupational Therapist, Speech- Language Pathologist and other pediatric focused therapists/professionals to join our team on the unceded territory of the Syilx Okanagan people in West Kelowna. Shine Therapy Services is a therapies clinic that currently consists of pediatric and pelvic physiotherapy, kids counselling and kids OT. There is access to a large play gym and a private treatment area. New grads or new-to-peds therapists will have the option of regular mentorship with a senior therapist and online courses provided by Shine Therapy Services. The successful applicant has the option to design the Shine therapy service you provide based on your special interest areas! You'll build your caseload when you start but we already have a few kids on a wait list :)
Compensation
The role will be a contractor taking 50% of treatment income to start. More with experience.
Duties
- Conduct pediatric therapy assessments within your scope of practice
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on the child's individual needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions unique to the child's individual needs and goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for the child
- Monitor and document the child's progress throughout the treatment process
- Provide education and support to children and their families
Requirements
- You must hold a degree in your therapy field and be registered with the designated collage
- You will need to hold professional indemnity insurance
- You'll need your own laptop and phone
